Power BI consultant in Brisbane
Secure Minded provides Power BI consulting for businesses that want their numbers on one screen instead of scattered across spreadsheets. As a Power BI consultant in Brisbane, we connect the data sources you already have and build dashboards that decision-makers can read without waiting on a report.
Most of the work is deciding which numbers matter and where they live. The dashboard itself comes last.
- A workshop to agree which numbers matter and where they come from
- Connections to the data sources you already have
- Interactive Power BI dashboards and reports
- Licensing advice, so you only pay for what you need
- Training for the people who will use and maintain the reports
Pricing depends on how many data sources and reports are involved.

Is Power BI free?
Power BI Desktop is free to download and use for building reports on your own computer. You need a paid licence once you want to share reports with other people through the Power BI service.
What is the difference between Power BI Pro and Premium?
Power BI Pro is a per-user licence for publishing and sharing reports. Premium Per User adds larger data models and more frequent refreshes, and capacity-based licensing (now sold as Microsoft Fabric capacity) is aimed at larger organisations sharing reports widely. Most small and mid-sized teams only need Pro.
Which Power BI licence does a small business need?
For most small businesses, a Pro licence for each person who builds or views shared reports is enough. We check what your Microsoft 365 plan already includes before recommending anything. Microsoft’s pricing page has the current per-user cost.
